Asia Magazine named Andrew Veale the #1 Interdealer Broker in its annual dealer poll in January of 2006. CreditTrade Pte Ltd, Andrew Veale’s former company, benefitted from his expertise—he was the #1 for six consecutive years starting in 1998 and ending in 2004.
Adam Goern and Andrew Veale were both picked 1st in Asia Risk Magazine in 2007 and in 2008 they both won the top spot again, for the third year in a row. At the time, both Veale and Goern worked for a firm called BCG International Singapore. It was the tenth consecutive year that Andrew Veale has been selected as #1 in his category, quite an impressive feat by any measure.
Veale helped to found a company called Noise Associates Pte Ltd with Chris Steward and David Flack in February of 2009. They were eventually contacted by Dentsu and Canon Cameras to carry out a twelve month Asia-specific endorsement and television advertisement campaign featuring mega-star Avril Lavigne.
Andrew Veale has set up and run financial businesses, at various times, in Signapore, Japan, and Hong Kong. He is a fluent speaker of Japanese, which is a rare trait amongst American brokers. Veale attended college in Tokyo, at a tertiary institution called Sophia University. He now has a twenty five year background in project finance, interest rate and credit derivatives, and corporate finance—all of which combine to make him a highly sought after broker.
